This tool places visible text, dates and a handwritten-signature image on the page, so it also works with flat PDFs that have no editable fields. It does not edit existing AcroForm fields. If a completed interactive form needs a non-editable copy, use Flatten PDF Form after reviewing the values.

Private handling for signed documents

Contracts, consents and applications can contain personal data. The PDF is processed in your browser and is not sent to PriviTools servers. Review the downloaded document and the applicable signature requirements before formal use.

Is the signature legally binding?

It is a simple electronic signature (an image of your stroke). It is accepted for many everyday procedures, but it is not a qualified electronic signature with a digital certificate.

Can it fill existing AcroForm fields?

No. This tool adds visible text, dates and a handwritten-signature image wherever you place them. It is designed for flat PDFs and visual placement, not for editing interactive AcroForm fields.

Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is opened and modified in your browser's memory and downloaded straight to your device.
